Silvano is Quick Mill's entry-level semi-automatic espresso machine with advanced features. The Silvano combines affordability, style and the latest PID technology for making the best espressos, cappuccinos and lattes imaginable! High-tech features are packaged into an easy to use machine for both the casual and experienced users alike. The Silvano has excellent temperature control with separate pumps for a thermoblock for steam and a boiler for coffee. The thermoblock provides for unlimited hot water and steam and can be turned off independently from the coffee boiler to conserve energy.

Defective or Damaged Equipment will be replaced or repaired, whichever is deemed appropriate by the service department during the first 30 days of valid warranty service with free UPS ground shipping in both directions. After 30 days, the customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways.

For all other returns the customer is responsible for a 20% re-stocking fee plus all shipping charges.

    This is a solid peice of equipment. Good aestetics. Large drip tray means I don't have to do repeated empties when serving several people. Makes a good cup, but hasn't wowed me.
    The PID is very nice and I wish it was more common on the more reasonably price machines.
    The reservoir has a good amount of capacity, but is difficult to fill/remove. Best to partially remove and fill with a pitcher.
    Can brew and steam at the same time, another uncommon feature at this price point.
    I hope to see more machines with these features around this price point.

    There are a lot of more expensive machines out there, but the key difference is that this machine was clearly built with the home user in mind. The ability to easily adjust the temperature and pressure, turn the steam bank off independently. You may not be able to make enough drinks for your wedding, but certainly being able to make enough for a small group in a quick manner. You can steam milk and pull espresso at the same time! And as always well made and Chris Coffee has nothing but stellar reviews for after purchase support!

    I had my Silvano for 2 weeks and really like it. It can pull really nice shots. The steaming is very powerful and works independently. I wish only the water tank would be a bit larger. It seems running out of water to fast, maybe because I flash a lot. Not a big deal. It is very solid built, all stainless steel.

    I really like this machine! It has all the features I could want - adjustable OPV, pressure gauge, large brass boiler, PID temperature control with 1 degree adjustment, separate steam thermoblock and pump for frothing while pulling a shot, 58mm brass portafilter, excellent construction and shiny stainless steel case, large drip tray, 3-way solenoid, and easy to fill side mount water reservoir.


    That sums up what I like - I don't like that my triple basket won't fit but a bottomless PF should fix that - else I can just use less coffee - might turn out to be the better way to go in the long run.

    I've had this machine for about a year, when it first came out. This thing oozes quality. You can produce the best espresso in the world if you know how to dial it in. Very quiet, only negative is that the milk steaming function isnt the best--but I don't use that.
