The Alex II from Izzo's My Way brand is a fantastic semi-automatic espresso machine. It has a E61 lever-action group with built-in pre-infusion, high-grade stainless steel construction, and a Gicar PID controller that combine to create delectable espressos, cappuccinos and lattes. Alex II's heat exchanger was designed to give the user ultimate control. It's innovative convertible water source technology lets you switch between plumbed-in or internal tank water sources.

EricBNC | Tue, 12/27/2011 - 23:48The Izzo by Alex is a premium HX espresso machine featuring the reliability if a PID controlled boiler for precision, energy efficiency and increased longevity of the temp control hardware compared to a standard pressurestat - essentially the same quality components found in the Alex Duetto II double boiler but in a more economical HX design - some afficianados prefer the HX over a double boiler - either way the espresso will be fantastic.
