A vivacious blend of USDA certified organic Central American and Indonesian coffees enhanced by the delicate complexity of an East African. Dark roasted to a full-city roast resulting in a full bodied cup that pleasantly dances on your palate. Micro-roasted to a full-city roast.
Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company coffee is also environmentally green. Instead of packaging its coffee in non-recyclable, heavy-gauge foil bags, Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company uses steel cans, recycled paper and soy ink to produce product labels. Their finished packaging is gorgeous.

MILD & SMOOTH FOR A DARK ROAST!
angelagallion | Thu, 10/27/2011 - 11:06We loved the River's Edge for our morning coffee, nice and dark but balanced. Love that it's organic, and we were sad when we reached the bottom of the canister! A great pick-me-up on a cold, sleepy morning.
GLAD YOU LIKE IT, TWEETER!
Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company | Wed, 10/05/2011 - 12:59If this wasn't as strong as you typically like, have you tried our Cattail Espresso Roast? Makes a great drip cup!
GOOD BUT NOT MY FAVORITE
Tweeter78 | Wed, 10/05/2011 - 12:57This coffee was good. Not as strong as I typically like but still good for every day.

Milganite | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 21:57From the minute I opened the canister (LOVE the canister!) to smell the aroma, I knew I was going to love it! It is love at first taste! A very smooth, yet bold cup of coffee! Makes me eager for morning time again! Will definitely add to my list of coffees to purchase!
VERY SMOOTH ESPRESSO
ray | Mon, 04/18/2011 - 06:30This coffee (whole bean) produces a very smooth and flavorful shot of espresso. It's a little bit difficult to describe the exact combination of flavors, but I want to say there is a mild hint of oak in there. The espresso is very smooth as mentioned, which is a nice change from some of the more acidic and sharper / more bold flavors that some coffee beans tend to produce.
I've also ground this coffee and used it in a french press, which produces a nice cup of coffee (although really I'm more of an espresso drinker, than coffee drinker).
Definitely can recommend this bean for those who are seeking a mild/smooth shot of espresso. I think this bean would also be an excellent foundation for a caffe latte as well - or even a mocha perhaps.
