REVIEWS & COMMENTS
A GREAT LEVER
avaserfi | Tue, 01/31/2012 - 13:34The Micro Casa is a gorgeous lever machine that has a bit of a learning curve, but can put out a wonderful shot. I've had the pleasure to work on one numerous times and as with all levers it takes some work to get the technique down, but once you do it is a pleasure. My biggest problem with most levers is the small portafilter limiting dosing to around 14 grams. I tend to prefer a higher dose.
A VERY CAPABLE ESPRESSO MACHINE!
Son Ton | Sat, 12/31/2011 - 13:39The Elektra Micro Casa is a very capable spring powered lever espresso machine and like other have said is great for exploring the world of single origin coffee. It is also a very functional peice of art sure to garner praises from visitor. However, there are limitations, for instance it can not realistically serve a big crowd.
RESPECTABLE LEVER!
samuellaw178 | Fri, 12/30/2011 - 21:09This is a spring-powered lever espresso machine. This means there is no noisy pump when brewing espresso, only the serene spring at work. Also, Elektra lever was respected and given the nickname "clarity queen" because the shots she makes have distinct clear nuances that are more easily picked up. It is also an eye candy on the counter. The only downside is probably she's good at making 2-3 shots before the group get overheated, meaning too hot for brewing espresso.
GREAT LEVER
Wakeknot | Tue, 09/27/2011 - 20:09This is a great lever machine. The brass scratches too easily, but the espresso and looks are amazing.
