ssnova66 | Sat, 04/14/2012 - 15:17I am always in favor of purchasing an organic, fair-trade bean. I love Dean's Beans for having so many of these choices. This choice goes one step further by protecting migratory songbird habitat! What a great plus! This shade grown blend arrived fast and tasted great. It isn't a strong, bold cup, but is a perfect morning blend for me. I could definitely tasty some nuttiness, and really enjoyed it.
ANOTHER DELICIOUS BLEND
ssnova66 | Sat, 04/14/2012 - 15:12This is yet another delicious morning blend from Dean's Beans. It arrived fast and fresh, and the beans are a delightful color mix upon grinding. It isn't the boldest of flavors, so if you like it dark and strong, it's better to opt for another choice. This coffee is smooth and delicious, and comes with a great story to share with friends over a morning chat!
A NEW FAVORITE!
ssnova66 | Mon, 03/05/2012 - 15:42I LOVE this blend. Not only is it organic and affordable, it's delicious. I am a huge fan of it's smoky, and somewhat nutty aroma, and it's definite caramelized flavor. It is a great morning cup of coffee, delicious black, but very supportive of some half and half to bring out a different layer of flavors. Do not be afraid to try this one!
DELICIOUS MORNING BREW

I am once again delighted to find a delicious, affordable coffee that is also organic and fair-trade. I am seldom disappointed with my purchases from this roaster.
NOT BOLD ENOUGH FOR ME
ssnova66 | Wed, 02/08/2012 - 10:46This isn't a bad coffee, but the Roaste description makes it sound like a bolder blend than it turned out to be. I have tried several others from the Hunter Bay roasters, and this is my least favorite. It is well-balanced, but I prefer a stronger flavor and would need to brew this quite slowly, or use a hefty amount to achieve the flavor Ii am looking for. I'll stick with the Moose Drool or Praying Monk in the future.
