  • SO RICH AND FLAVORFUL

    This coffee is a unique experience from start to finish. First, we opened the box it shipped in and were smacked in the face by an overwhelmingly fresh coffee aroma- exciting! Then, upon opening the bag, and examining the beans, we encountered these rich, dark, sticky coffee beans that were different than anything we've seen before. After grinding the beans we watched them brew in the french press and they bloomed like nothing we've ever seen before--we had to work quickly to ensure all the coffee goodness didn't overflow out of the carafe. Finally, we tasted. Before I could even articulate why I liked it or what the flavors were, I looked to my partner after the first sip and just said "mmmmmm." It's a balanced deep flavor that really wakes you up in the morning! We love this coffee and will certainly buy again.

  • A DELICIOUS SPECIAL TREAT

    We never spend this much on coffee--I mean, if one can afford to do so on a regular basis then more power to them, but for us, this was a special treat. It really is different from any other coffee I've ever tasted in a way that's hard to describe. It's hearty and smooth and I'm sorry that we went through it so quickly! Really enjoyed this as a special occasion coffee and can't wait to celebrate with it some time in the future :)

    We really enjoyed this coffee and can't wait to try more from this roaster. We've had a lot of dark roasts lately so this was a welcome refreshment with a different feel. It was light and strong at the same time and superbly drinkable. Had a really earthy flavor coming out of French Press--absolutely loved it!
