  • LOVE THIS BREWER

We have one for ourselves and recently bought another for my mother in law to replace her broken CUISINART brewer which died after 10 months. We all love it! Easy to use, love the programability so its ready to go when we wake up but turns off a short while later to save electricity, and it's smaller than the old one so it takes up less counter space. No complaints!

  • WAS A GREAT BREWER...

We bought this system for my mother in law since she only drinks 1-2 cups of coffee a day, it was just what she needed. However, after just under 1 year, she woke up to make her coffee and the machine would not power on any longer. Just died with no warning. We tried different plugs to make sure it was the brewer and not the outlet but still nothing. It's too bad, she loved the features it had but it should not have died in less than a year. I felt it has too large of a footprint as well so when replacing it for her we went with the Keurig brand.

  • YUM!

Very good for flavored coffee. Many flavored coffees have a very artificial chemically type taste but this one doesn't. It's my Fiancee's favorite!

  • PROBLEMATIC AT BEST

After repeated attempts to make a good cup of coffee using our own fresh ground coffee and using tips posted in reviews from another web site, I've nearly given up on the ez-cup. No matter what I do the filter breaks open and spills ground coffee all over the inside of my keruig machine and I spend 20 minutes trying to get it all cleaned up. It seems the only way to make the EZ-cup work is to use 2 filters for each brew and even then the coffee is not as strong as it should be due to a design flaw with the bottom being too open. It should have been made with a closed bottom except for a small hole for the needle to simulate the way the k-cups brew. I was hoping the ez-cup would help eliminate all the land fill fodder that using the k-cups produces but it's a no go except for the occasional time I want to use my own flavored coffee and don't mind having to use 2x the filters.
