Higher Ground's Mocha Java Blend
This is the one that does it for me. Rich bold flavor without being bitter. It is a dark roast without any hint of being burned.
I have been searching for the one coffee that I could come back to every morning and not get bored with it... This is the one.

I have been through quite a few pounds of this coffee, and I still feel that this is my favorite. I sometimes add a dash of hazelnut or pecan to it, but I prefer it just as it comes from the roaster. I brew this in a Yama vacuum pot with a relatively coarse grind. It gives me a rich tasting brew with very little sediment in my cup. Still the one I wake up to every morning.
This coffee is more heavily flavored than I usually like. The flavor is nice, rich , and strong. The beans are a little sticky, and tended to gum up my burr-mill bean grinder. I blended it 50/50 with "mocha-Java" and the result was perfect.
The blend grinds well in my burr-mill and the taste is exactly what I wanted. I'll be back for more.
I bought this coffee mostly because of the name. It would make a nice light dessert after a big meal. After finishing off a pot (I drink about a pot a day)I felt that I needed some real coffee. The next day I had about a pot and an half of Ahabs Revenge. It was an interesting coffee, but I think it will be a while before I come back to this one.
This is a very strong rich tasting coffee. Of my recent purchases this was my favorite. It has a flavor that made me sit up and pay attention. I did notice that this is somewhat more caffeinated than most coffees. The flavor was similar to a good Sumatran, but perhaps with just a bit more intensity.
A very dark roast with a smoky taste. I really liked this coffee, it is strong and I enjoyed the unusual flavor. I had to adjust my brewing method for this one. It tended to froth too much for my vacuum pot. I would definitely buy this one again
THIS IS THE ONE!
