handsandhart | Mon, 09/19/2011 - 19:23I didn't realize when I ordered this that it was a light roast. I usually prefer a dark roast but was very happy with this coffee. The chocolate flavor is rich and not sweet and does not upstage the coffee flavor. Would be an excellent choice to serve with dessert.
A GOOD MEDIUM ROAST

Proops to Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company for designing a great looking green package for their coffee. When I opened the package I smelled hints of chocolate and pepper. I also noticed these notes upon first taste as well. It had a smooth finish and all around good cup. I personally prefer a bolder coffee but would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a medium roast.

handsandhart | Thu, 01/20/2011 - 19:20Not exactly what I was expecting, but still a good cup of coffee. Mocha java makes it sound like it is going to be heavy on the chocolate taste, but it isn't. Still would recommend it.
SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN
handsandhart | Tue, 12/14/2010 - 13:24The first thing I noticed when I opened this coffee was the smell was so strong and delicious. My husband walked into the room right after and said "smells like heaven!" I brewed this in my french press and didn't get to pour it right away and even with extra brewing time it was not bitter. Nice strong, rich flavor. I would definitely order this again.
