This espresso was easy to pull, with a wide range of acceptable settings. The taste was pleasing with lot of cherry aromas initially. A great "base" espresso that is reasonably priced, but I like harder to work with beans that produce better flavor when pulled correctly (like Vivace).
I don't add milk to my espresso drinks (only hot water), so given that requirement, I don't find anything particularly exciting about Vita as I do with Dolce. If you make caps/lattes, I'm sure this one will fare better.
This is an especially hard coffee to brew correctly, but once you have it figured out (and it takes a lot of wasted coffee to do so), you're rewarded with a brilliantly balanced cup of coffee with notes of caramel in the finish. Brew at 203F using a very fine grind to produce 1.25oz at 25 seconds.
GOOD COFFEE, BUT NOTHING SUPER AMAZING
