Must have an Espresso Tamper before a milk frother. The next accessory that I would need to have is a naked portafilter. I just recently bought one and love it and use it exclusively. It came with a triple basket which I love because I take 2 ozs of espresso in my drink and my wife only wants one. So either I pull 2 doubles and pour one out, I would never, or I drink more than I want. This fixes that problem and seems it adds a touch more crema for some reason. Definitely a must purchase for the espresso lover.
The bags they were packaged in weren't sealed with a degassing valve. The first impression was horrible. It looked like someone who didn't care packed the beans. It is hard to go on from there.
The order didn't come for a couple of extra days and I am not sure that I am fond of drinking from a press pot. I guess I am just spoiled to my espresso machine. Maybe it was the coffee. It is a lot more work than my espresso machine too. If you get one get a big one this held enough for one large mug. It looked a lot more substantial in the pictures too. I gave it 4 beans instead of 3 because the owner called me with some the answers to an email. Great guy.
I got my package 5 days after roast. Wasn't really impressed with the flavor. After having some Ethiopian in a restaurant in Minneapolis out of a french press. Anyway the owner of the company called me because I had some questions. So I gave it 4 beans instead of 3 because he was outstanding.
I love the fact that they ship it to you in 2 8 ounce bags. And the bags are cool too. It seems to be getting better the longer it sits. Lots of Crema it is just under a week. I am not sure about the resting of the bean thing. Is it that important. Please someone let me know. This maybe one I get all the time. Well see.
I am waiting a little while now and this seems to be helping flavor. I will buy this roast again.
