BRIGHT IN THE CUP
Amber G | Sun, 01/08/2012 - 12:51This is knock-out cup! Earthy, strong blueberry flavor. I have read "blueberry" is an excellent achievement of an outstanding roast... but have never tasted it until now! Some have described this as "sweet" which I don't get at all. This cup is laden with flavors I associate with strong antioxidant-powered sources: unsweetened dark chocolate and berries. The brew smells very earthy (it's in my mug now). This is a fantastic, complex experience and I am impressed. This may not be a brew I choose to drink everyday (blueberry isn't my favorite taste), but I would order again. It's smooth and very bright (acidic). Kapow!
EARL GREY AS COFFEE?
Amber G | Sun, 01/08/2012 - 12:30When I drink this I am reminded of good quality Earl Grey tea. That isn't necessarily all bad, I love a good Earl Grey; but it isn't what I want from a coffee. The sip is thin on my palette (too watery) although some complex flavors emerge. GIve this 3 mugs because some people might adore this brew, but it isn't for me.
