Warning: I'm a total newbie in regard to cofee machines and certainly espresso, so my opinion may not count for much. All I can say is that as a seminarian of the Roman Catholic Church that does a fair bit of driving -- sometimes before dawn -- I needed something that would wake me up fast, so I bought this espresso machine. The plusses are that it is clean, quiet and brews 7-8 espresso cups in seven minutes. The cons are that it does not keep your coffee warm after brewing (so get it fast if you want it hot) and that 7 minutes is still awhile if you often in a morning rush, like me. It's a great unit overall, and I have yet to fully utilize its potential (so to speak), but just keep these things in mind if you buy. It's still a good deal, and the aesthetics are kind of neat. :)
