Trixi323 | Fri, 07/23/2010 - 18:32Amazing from the very beginning. Opened the bag when it arrived- the fragrance was heavenly- deep and rich but not harsh or "burnt" as some dark roasts seem to be. Ground my beans and brewed a pot for the whole family. My parents, who tend toward lighter blends and brew it a bit on the weak side, thought it was wonderful. I drank my first cup black to get the full impact. It was rick, dark and bold. It was not harsh, bitter or acidic. I found it very enjoyable and it satisfied my love of a quality dark roast coffee.
