Phyllis Honora | Mon, 06/15/2009 - 12:50I tasted chocolately flavors with a slight molasses to it, plus a little kind of vanilla and caramel flavor. It's a nice mix of what seems to a novice like me like Viennesse roast beans (i.e. one shade lighter than espresso roast) and Full City Roast in order to bring out a wide range of dark flavors. By the earthiness of it, the coffee tastes like it might be a mix of premium African and Indonesian beans and they roast up really well when dark, giving them a caramel-ish taste that I liked. I have to confess that I've been drinking this coffee for well over a week because I like it so much. It's delaying my reviews of other coffees! This is just the kind of coffee where I add brown sugar and half-and-half, making myself a kind of Aztec milk shake. All bon mots set aside, this is just a nice rich chocolately cup of richness.
