"Whichever coffee press you select, the French press can brew coffee as quickly as instant. Start with the freshest coarse-ground beans. Just put in two teaspoons per each six ounces of filtered water. Pour in 195 to 205 degree Fahrenheit water; a good rule is to bring water to a boil, remove from heat and let it cool for 15 seconds before pouring. Stir the grounds in the water and place the cover on the pot. Wait two to five minutes to brew the coffee. Then just press down the plunger and pour delicious coffee into your cup. It doesn’t get much easier. But the aroma and taste are still incredible.
You can take the French press to the table and brew it right there, adding convenience and ambiance. All you need is a source of heat nearby to boil your water. "With any French press, cleaning is a snap. Once the pot is empty, the filter is easily removed and washed in warm soapy water. The filter assembly comes apart quickly for detailed cleaning if necessary. The press pot itself can even be washed in the dishwasher, but it’s easily washed out by hand. Just swish it out with a soapy sponge or cloth, rinse and you’re done.
