An espresso machine for every need
Espresso machines don’t have to be confusing and overwhelming. If you know what your needs are for espresso, it will help to narrow your choices and make the shopping easier. The most important question to consider is: How serious are you about your espresso? All of our espresso machines use force from a pump, steam pressure or the pull of a lever to move the water through fine coffee grounds, taking with it the taste qualities. Because the water moves through quickly, espresso contains less caffeine than other coffees. At the same time, the taste is affected by the tamping of the grounds, and the temperature and pressure of the water. The more control provided by the machine for adjusting these, the better the resulting taste and crema.
Espresso pulled on all our machines will taste good, but for sure the ability to maintain the perfect adjustments will improve it even more. Some people get this control by using a classic non-automatic lever espresso maker. Others like the automatic option where once set, always set. Then others would prefer an espresso machine that allows them to play with knobs and gauges in a continual attempt to improve crema and taste.
