New Version of Deep Cello Decaf

We wanted to let everyone know that we have finally received our replacement coffee for Deep Cello Black Tie™ Decaf.  And it's really good news!  Start thinking about a genuine Ethiopia Sidamo Natural Process coffee water process decaf.   This is a new base for our Black Tie Decaf.

It is perhaps the most aromatic decaf we’ve ever tasted.  It’s loaded with that unbeatable Ethiopean taste, body, and Sidamo quality.

While we admit that it is not as good as our regular roasts, grading on a curve we challenge anyone to find a better decaf.   We assume that our amazing group of coffee lovers will let us know!

  • GREAT NEWS! NOW MAYBE I CAN

    hoonchul | Mon, 02/06/2012 - 01:22

Great news! Now maybe I can get my wife to drink some coffee with me. If not it'll come in handy at parties for people don't drink regular coffee.

  • I MAY NEED TO TRY THIS ONE!

    Chamie | Sun, 02/05/2012 - 10:25

I swore off decaf years ago, but I'm a huge Ethiopian fan so I may have to try this one -- especially with the latest news that decaf coffee may help reduce the cognitive decline that comes along with diabetes. If decaf coffee is good for you... it should taste good too.

  • NEW BLACK TIE

    Deep Cello Coffee Roasters | Sat, 02/04/2012 - 19:10

actually, this is the new base roast for Black Tie Decaf. As some of you might know. DCello looks for very rare coffee. That means in practice that the lots are both smaller and sonetime double triple the cost of cheaper mainstream coffees. As a result, when a great new coffee shows up, we get to blend it into our brands, like Black Tie Decaf. It also means that if you tried one of our coffees earlier, the flavor will change over time as the beans change. When a software company introduces a new version of a product, they still keep the name. Buying green coffees very selectively is more work for us, but for y'all it means that you get a coffee that you can love.

I like variety. And so I like the fact that the coffees change as the seasons change. Coffee is a fruit, after all. I personally am drinking a slightly new high jump and just love it. The new BTDecaf is our latest, like a jazz re-recording of a great song. Hope you enjoy it when you can!

Are you implying that the Black Tie decaf will no longer be offered? Either way, this one sounds interesting.

  • EXCELLENT NEWS!

Thank you for this excellent news. I have been waiting for a good decaf espresso blend for a while mainly for my wife who is intolerant to caffeine.

  • DECAF

    avaserfi | Fri, 02/03/2012 - 00:27

I've always though decaf was lacking in flavor, so I swore it off. I've heard so much good about Deep Cello that I might have to try again when I get some of your beans.
