Summer Recipe: Caffe Shakerato
Caffe Shakerato by XPRZZO
Ingredients
- 8 oz tall glass
- 8 oz crushed ice
- 1.5 oz simple syrup
- Double shot espresso or ristretto (~1.5 oz)
- Chocolate syrup (to decorate)
Directions
- Combine the espresso, simple syrup and ice in a blender
- Run a bead of chocolate syrup about 2/3 down the rim of the glass and put the glass upright so the syrup can run down
- Pour the content of the blender into the glass
- Let it sit for a little so the layers can form and then serve
