Coffee Zabaglione
Ingredients
Makes 4 short cups
3 egg yolks
3 tablespoons sugar
½ cup sweet cream
4 servings espresso, chilled
Strawberries (optional)
Preparation
- Combine the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until foamy and bright.
- Whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- Divide the espresso among 4 cups. Add 2 tablespoons of whipped cream to each cup. Add 2 tablespoons of the egg mixture.
- Optionally, add strawberries on top
- Serve immediately.
