Founded by three coffee-loving friends, who just couldn’t get a decent cup of coffee anyplace else, ROASTe brings together the world’s best specialty coffees for the first time. We were tired of the bitter brews from big coffee chains and unhappy with the superior-yet-inconsistent selections at indie coffee shops. No one else online had a large enough selection for us to explore all the things we wanted to try – from the hundreds of micro-roasters that have opened up shop over the last ten years to the high-end home brewing equipment to the accessories and everything in between.
Our mission is to make it easy for coffee-lovers to find and enjoy the perfect cup of coffee. We use a hybrid of intuitive search and user-generated reviews to provide unparalleled ease-of-selection and prevent customers from feeling overwhelmed by the enormous selection on the site. Custom search results are automatically ranked by ratings provided by other coffee-lovers just like you, and the reviews from fellow coffee aficionados provide an additional layer of feedback, helping customers find coffee they’re most likely to enjoy.
We also offer coffee-enthusiasts a way to read smart and insightful content from coffee experts, with our deep archive of original articles, exclusive-to-the-web book excerpts, and intelligent blog posts that not only entertain, but also connect customers to coffees they’re likely to enjoy.
And, we provide a vibrant community of coffee-lovers on the site, thanks to the integration of social media functionality. We invite you to create a coffee profile, upload photos of yourself and your brewing equipment and communicate with other members via private messages.
Coffee purchased on ROASTe is shipped fresh from the roaster directly to our customers’ doors. The search is over for the place to find a better cup of coffee.
